The wafel_core.ipx is the same as 00core.ipx, I think on GitHub it is mentioned that it was just renamed to 00core.ipx. And I didn't find a place were you could download wafel_core.ipx, except for the defuse folder that is linked in you defuse video.

Referring to the 4th option, I think I didn't click on it and to confirm, even if I did, it would do nothing, I tried it and it just said something is missing and sends you back to the main minute menu. After that, I made the video filming my tv. If you're concerned about me pulling my sd card too early. After way over 30 times trying this mlc rebuild, I can say after the led turns to blinking orange nothing in the log changes anymore. Wich is the point in my second video were it only outputs ,,alive" again and again.

Else I tried to day, resoldering my nand-aid joints to the Mainboard (still all the same).

I rebricked my console to only work with defuse and reformatted my sd card to start all over again. Also I tried every version of the wafel_setup_mlc.ipx and every version of the 00core.ipx and the one wafel_core.ipx I had from you're files. Some other files too but I won't mention them all. I think I have done everything I could for over well over a week. I posted my situation under issues on git-hub, were the wafel_setup_mlc.ipx is posted. Maybe the dev knows something about this problem. I think he is German wich could help since I am German too.

I see the tools have been updated. My apologies. I haven't used the newer versions. You are correct wafel_core.ipx  is 00core.ipx now.

That being said something isn't right here....  I shouldn't see it trying to load wafel_core.ipx and throwing an error. So I am curious if you mixed up different versions of the files.

Did you download and use the latest version of defuse? It can be downloaded here

If it weren't for the fact that you have defuse already installed. I would suggest and recommend not using it and just go the paid to beak method.

Either way though you need to make sure your not mixing older versions of the files with new ones, because that is going to cause problems.

The NAND-AID appears to be working. You showed that the MLC erased successfully with the SD Card installed in the NAND-AID. Also you tested it without an SD Card and found that it errors out which proves that the NAND-AID is properly detecting the SD Card installed in it. If you still think the issue is with the soldering job, post some high resolution pictures and I will do my best to inspect them to see if there is anything that stands out as a problem.

I saw your video, what did you do to the Wii U when the led on the console changed from blinking blue to blinking orange?

I do nothing to the wii u while its going to only blink orange. i just wanted to say that after this event there is nothing new written in to the wafelsetup_mlc log and the sd card can just be unplugged.

I again set my sd card up. this time i used the files from your link, the newest wafel_setup_mlc.ipx https://github.com/StroopwafelCFW/wafel_setup_mlc/releases and the newest isfshax from here https://github.com/isfshax/isfsh.ax . result? nothing the gets the same error codes every time.

could you maybe send me a zip file of an properly setup sd card?
I would just add the install_wafel folder and otp and give it a try

Lets check a few other things...

Do you have all the wireless modules connected?

Edit: I looked at your logs again, the console doesn't see the 5Ghz Module.  Please make sure its connected securely. If it is and the same error is occurring than either the module is bad or the DRH is bad in the console. You can test this by using a known working one.

Idc

Yes they are connected and they work the Wii U gamepad starts up every time I try to rebuild the mlc. And as I did the successfull rednand try, I connected to WiFi and used my gamepad for that of course.

Post some pictures of your NAND-AID. We might as well have a second pair of eyes on it just to rule it out.

A couple things that come to mind, did you cut trace R26, which disables the eMMC?

Also lets make sure your SD Card in the NAND-AID is working. You can verify the Micro SD Card you installed in the NAND-AID is working by putting it in a computer and using h2testw.

Idc

since it doesen´t erase the mlc without an sd card´, wich it did before the nand-aid, i think r26 properly cut.

the sd card okay too.

I did my best to capture the soldering but since i don´t have anything to magnify my phone camera it´s not the best quality. Ignore the cut kabels this was just a try to connect a micro sd to sd card adapter, to see if the micro sd card port is falty, but it did as always nothing.

If you have no idea left i will do just a rednand and wait for someone else to have and solve this problem.
I  really don´t have anything left i can think of whats causing this istallation problem

You have an iPhone, try taking a picture zoomed out and just take it of the entire NAND-AID. The picture will offer better detail than trying to get close up shots.

If you measure for ground on the NAND-AID with a multi-meter what are you reading for ohms?

Idc

Those are my readings in Ohms:
Ground 0
Clk 0,3
Cmd 13k
D3 2,5M
D0 2,5M
D1 2,5M
D2 2,5M
3v 1,2K

Thanks for taking measurements. With a ground measure of 0 ohms, we know you have a good ground on the NAND-AID. So I don't think there is any issue with the NAND-AID based on all the information you provided and testing you have done. It looks to be functioning properly. I am not sure why the rebuild of the MLC suddenly stops.

The fact that a redNAND is working for you should indicate that the files used to rebuild the MLC are working properly. I have a console with the same issue you are experiencing. A redNAND works on the console, but I am unable to get the NAND-AID to rebuild the MLC. That being said I didn't install Defuse or try Pay the Beak on the console to further diagnose it. I don't currently have access to it for testing. I should be able to get it towards the end of the week to take another look at it and see if I can figure out what the problem could be. I will post back my findings if I am able to identify the problem and repair it.

Idc

okay so far thank you for everything. remember it doesen´t even install one titel it just stops trying after a few.

I will keep the alert for this topic activ and i am excited for you findings, good luck!

tzirf

Can you do one more test for me? I want to compare 2 sets of log files to see if the rebuild fails at the same point every time.

I need you to do the following 2 times:

Can you Erase the MLC, Delete the scfm.img and then try to rebuild the MLC. For matter of consistency with the log files I would recommend setting a timer for 5 minutes and then unplugging the console and dumping the log files.

Please keep the log files separated for each rebuild attempt so that I can compare them accurately.

The Wafel_setup_mlc log or the system log?

If you want the first one, i can really confirm that the process always stops at the same title, if you don´t change the sd kart setup. If you do so it stops at different titles, but i thinks thats just because it starts with a different title so the order changed. i put all i keept in the zip with different rednand trys the order changed too but this didn´t had an effect.

If you mean the system log i would say in every system log i sent there musst be multiple trys with the same outcome since i tried it over and over and over and over again.
